La Maison Royale Camp is a luxury tented camp and intimate 4-star safari camp located in Olare Motorogi Conservatory in Masai Mara Park, Kenya and is the smallest safari camp in our collection, La Maison Royale Camp is an intimate safaris camp and secluded tented camp owned and operated by the La Maison Royale Hotels Group, the La Maison Royale Lodge was inspired by the , La Maison Royale group founder’s dream of operating a lavish safari camp in Masai Mara Park and offering his customers an unforgettable Masai Mara Safari experience, in 2017 he took a safari Masai Mara and on first sight he fell in love with this one of the eight wonders of the world and instantly embarked on his journey of setting up the La Maison Royale Mara Camp. The La Maison Royale tented Camp is a private oasis in which to relax and connect with those close to you, the contemporary design and decor at La Maison Royale safari Camp are a celebration of African culture and exude a natural sense of romance and appreciation for nature on your doorstep. La Maison Royale Camp was designed to take advantage of unhindered views across the Olare Motorogi Conservatory breath-taking landscape, the theme of the safari camp is one of African elegance and style, enhanced by an expansive panorama, which can be enjoyed from the large open dining area, the relaxing sitting area and bar, the tranquil wooden deck, and one of Africa’s most picturesque infinity pools. Guests staying at La Maison Royale are faced with a tough choice: how they wish to spend their day, sunrise hot-air balloon safaris, photographing Africa’s abundant wildlife or being photographed amongst it, walking on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, or beading with the Maasai — these are just a few of the daily adventures on offer. A variety of game-watching activities is on offer at La Maison Royale Camp, most guests head out twice a day on game drives around the extensive earth roads and bush tracks of the Olare Motorogi Conservatory – from 6.30am to 10.30am or back earlier if you prefer followed by brunch and again in the late afternoon usually leaving at about 4.00pm after you've had tea and cake returning to the safari camp as night falls at about 6.45pm and again, this can be a little earlier or later if you prefer our game drives are in Land Cruisers with open roofs that can be pulled up, Our 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeeps are well designed to provide the best Masai Mara safari experiences, our Toyota Land Cruiser Jeeps are well designed keeping in mind legroom, space, and window seats, they are fired with radio calls, and reclining seats. Reclining seats are best for old-aged persons who need comfort to adjust the seat to their best-fit position. Our Jeeps are designed to provide a High Roof Hatch Top for game viewing that ensures you spot wildlife in a far distance while on a game drive. We have also ensured you get a window seat while on safari to Masai Mara. We have equipped our jeeps with books, maps and binoculars that enables you to learn and enjoy your Masai Mara safaris. Without forgetting, we ensure you have a very professional, certified, well-disciplined, eloquent in speaking English, Spanish, French, and Italian Safari Guide. They are well trained to serve you with high-tech services and taking care of your needs while on safari in Masai Mara. The usual practice at La Maison Royale Camp is to drive with a safari guide and on night drives a spotter joins as well to direct the lamp. At one end of the c La Maison Royale Camp is a wonderfully peaceful wooden viewing deck overlooking the surrounding bush, it is a great spot for birding. During the migration season when wildebeest crossings can be seen you can also opt for an all-day game drive into the Masai Mara National Reserve, packing a picnic breakfast and lunch and a separate park fees are payable to visit the Masai Mara Reserve as well as day-time game drives, La Maison Royale Camp offers night drives safaris, Night drives normally incorporate a sundowner drink and a return to Maison Royale Camp for a late dinner, or by special request they set off after dinner for a couple of hours, slowly driving through the Mara Olare Motorogi Conservatory exciting bush and savanna environment before returning at about 10.00pm. A more recent addition to activities at La Maison Royale Camp are game walks or walking safari, the walks go out with an experienced armed guard, carrying a .308 rifle and are either a nature walk for families with young children, in the immediate surrounds of the La Maison Royale Camp or a bush walk for around an hour or a longer bush walk. If you are looking for a more substantial walk however then you are better contacting us, although safety is an absolute priority, on the longer bush walks you are quite likely to encounter elephants and big cats - at a respectable distance! La Maison Royale Camp also offers visits to a local Maasai village, a 20-minute drive away. These visits last an hour or two and cost US$25 per adult, which is paid to the camp managers and passed on to the community via the conservancy's community liaison. La Maison Royale Camp elegant tented suites have been designed to make the most of the extraordinary views of the Maasai Mara from every angle – from the bed, the bath, the sitting area, the shower and even the w/c. The roof and other three sides are canvas – classic safari olive on the outside and cream on the inside for romance. Spanning over 100 sqm, the tented suites all include spacious decks for in-room dining, massage treatments and red rocking chair safaris. You might wonder what Mara means in the beautiful language of Maa (Masai Language)!
